Connect your device

Unbox your Trezor and connect it to your computer or phone using the included cable. Visit trezor.io/start and follow the prompts to install Trezor Suite, the official app for managing your wallet. Check that your device and packaging appear untouched. Use a trusted internet connection, and keep your device plugged in until the installation is complete. Suite will guide you through each screen at your own pace.

Secure your wallet

Install the latest firmware when asked, then create a new wallet on your device. Choose a PIN that is difficult to guess and enter it only on your Trezor. Never share your PIN or let anyone enter it for you. Your wallet is created on the hardware itself, so carefully check what appears on its screen before confirming. If something looks unexpected, pause and consult official support rather than following instructions from a stranger.

Back up your recovery

Your device will show a recovery seed: the words that can restore access to your wallet. Write them down in order on the supplied backup card and store it offline in a secure place. Never photograph, type, or share these words.
